After lunch get a feel for the city and our west coast culture meandering by bike in the downtown core and by the inner harbour covering the essentials of the city as we go.
By bike we’ll take the iconic Johnson Street bridge out of town riding along the Galloping Goose rail trail - an iconic trail system that links the surrounding communities with Victoria’s inner harbour. We’ll ride through everyday Victoria neighbourhoods that rank as extraordinary. Flanked by ocean views, lighthouses and a stop for a rest at Thetis Lake a park with towering Douglas fir trees you’ll discover what makes living in Victoria extra special.
The essentials you’ll encounter as we ride back into downtown after a lunch stop include: The Parliament Buildings that create the city’s defining silhouette, James Bay, Emily Carr House, Beacon Hill Park, Dallas Road, the downtown and inner harbour.
